I took delivery of my brand new Rhino Harvest Greenhouse on Tuesday 23rd May 2013. The delivery was on time and very efficient. The greenhouse was offloaded in about 15 minutes.

I had read that the instructions were vague and hard to follow so I decided I would write this blog to help any others trying to do the same.

First of all it is VITAL that the ground you are erecting the greenhouse on is level. I had an old polycarbonate greenhouse before so did have a large slabbed area that my new 8ft x 12 ft was going. However, on checking the levels I realised that I needed to relay some of the slabs to ensure that it was level as I did not want a puddle in the middle of the greenhouse every time it rained.

I then set about identifying the relevent parts in the 3 boxes.

It is vital that you study the instructions from start to finish before you begin.

The first part you contruct are the sides. It is important before you do this to decide where you want he louvre windows as you will need to feed in extra flat headed bolts into the glazing channel to ensure that there are sufficient to hold the louvres. The new louvre windows come with 3 fixings and not 2 as mentioned in the instructions so you will need to ensure that you add the extra bolt on 4 bars.
